The boardwalk is located
adjacent to the beaches in Grand Haven (stroller
friendly)...It connects the Grand Haven Peer and
Lighthouse to the downtown shopping area -
via the harbor and Grand River...It extends two

Hikes (Local)
"Rosy Mound Nature Preserve" -
This small Count Park is located about 3 miles
outside of Grand Haven along the Lake Shore bike
path between Grand Haven and Holland (to the
south)...It offers paved parking, out houses and
boardwalk under foot...This park is meticulously
cared for, and bosts some of the cleanest
bathrooms around...The hike out to Lake Michigan
takes you through dense woods, and up sand dunes
by way of wooden stairs, and along ridge
lines...Scenic look-outs offer places to
sit down and enjoys Lake Michigan views...The
reward for making this trek is ending up right
on the beach at Lake Michigan...The hike
takes around 30 minutes, one way, depending on
pace.

Bike Path - Starts in Grand Haven and runs along
side Lake Shore Drive for 22 miles south to
Holland Michigan...The path is partially shaded,
and mostly flat with occasional hilly
sections...Along the way there are several
wooded beach parks, perfect for stopping for a
small hike out to Lake Michigan, or to take a
break...Restroom facilities are available at each
beach park along the way.

outdoor wooden play land that appeals to
children of all ages...It is a must see
